When i click on Adwcleaner, it tells me theres a new update, so it just links me to their website and it instals over the top of the old version, im assuming its safe to do so yeah?
I would remove the old application and download a new version, myself
Doesn't it run without an install, as a stand-alone application? I have clicked the link for the update, decided to do it later and the Adwcleaner.exe I had, has disappeared from the folder I keep it in.

    search.conduit.com

Some good news. To my annoyance I found my desktop & laptop, both WIN 7, and my note-book WIN XP, were all infected with conduit.com So I found and read through these posts. I started with JRT on the first 2 computers and for 24 hours at least conduit.com has gone. As it was so successful I used JRT on the WIN XP note-book and it eliminated conduit from that as well. Also all 3 computers were running better. It is only the next day, and I understand conduit might come back, so I will let you know if it does, but for now thank you!

That's good news monday69. I would suggest a run with Adwcleaner as well in Search mode first to see what, if anything, is found.

Yeah running Adwcleaner would also be a good step forward.
