Un-install (if found):

Advanced System Optimizer
RegClean Pro Mon
UVK - Ultra Virus Killer
HitmanPro 3.7
Search Protect by conduit
Java(TM) 6 Update 25

**Norton <--- Use the Removal tool Download Norton Removal Tool
**Microsoft Security Essentials
Download Fixit to Remove Microsoft Security Essentials v1 | v2
This is actually now part of the Microsoft Fix it suite and the uninstaller for version 2 should also work on version 4 of Security Essentials as well.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Things are starting to get harder to do.

Advanced System Optimizer-----only able to remove it with Revo Uninstaller. Seemed successful ????

RegClean Pro----------gone from desktop, might have removed with Adv. System Optimizer ????

UVK Ultra Virus Killer---------seemed to go okay

HitmanPro 3.7--------Used it's uninstaller but icon remains on desktop, when dbl clicked a message comes up saying "64 bit system detected this version only supports 32 bit" ??????

Search Protect by Conduit-----------No luck at all on this one.

Java(TM) 6 Update 25------------No luck on this one either. Basically I am over my head on this one.

Norton-------Removal tool worked

Microsoft Essentials-------Couldn't get V1 or V2 to work. Message on both of them said ""Microsoft Antimalware Service" (MsMpSvc) could not be stopped. Verify that you have privileges to stop services"

Went to Services, it was "Started" but I couldn't stop it. Looked at properties, logon. No changes could be made to the logon, it was set to "Local System Account". ???????

Went the reading source you provided and noticed a Webroot Uninstaller was there. I didn't download anything just looked.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Used Control Panel, Programs and Features to remove Microsoft Security Essentials. Also used it to remove Java 6 update 25. Hope that was ok to do. You had asked it be removed before and I didn't even try the Programs and Features. Also, went out on a limb and removed the Wild Tangent Games. Not a gamer and recently saw something show up about one of the games. I read it was part of Toshiba's preinstalled stuff.

Did the batch file and computer did reboot.

Okay, the ESET Online Scanner took a while. 10+ hours. Wasn't given an option to View Threats Found or Export To Text File. It didn't find any threats. I would glance every so often and it never did find any threats. Did choose the option to uninstall it as I exited.
