Risk detected in "SkypeSetupFull.exe" by VirusTotal

I have downloaded "SkypeSetupFull.exe" from Skype.com

VirusTotal has detected "PE:Malware.XPACK-LNR/Heur!1.5594" ... by "Rising" AV ... VirusTotal result

Is this a risk, or false positive ?

Rising AV is a lesser known tool. Scan using OPSWAT. If no major players flag it, then its safe to assume it's a false positive.

I would agree. I have downloaded that setup file for skype; and ran it and installed it with no problems at all. So yes i too would say its a false positive.

Seeing as only one anti-virus engine said it was bad, that would be considered a false positive. If most of them said it was bad then you should be concerned.

Need to add "TASKBARS" (MSese for "Launchpads", "Docks" NOT "Toolbars"
My office just upgraded, and I can no longer use Windows XP. On this system, I was able to add a separate taskbar to facilitate quick access to commonly-browsed folder locations on our vast network, and another one expedited the launching of useful programs and lists. Each task on each taskbar...

IE "Your Computer May Be At Risk" popup
I had IE on my XP Pro set up so that I never got these odd popups, but on a couple of occasions recently on Win7 x64 I've had this come up from completely unrelated websites (one food site, one medical site). I honestly can't remember what IE Security setting would take care of this, but it seems...
