    Glad to help!!

    In some cases, like a ZeroAccess removal, the FRST folder will not delete manually.
    Since that is the case, the following directive deletes the Quarantine folder of FRST.
    Afterwards, the FRST folder deletes manually.

    So, give this a whirl...

    Please remove any fixlist.txt files from the Desktop.
    Open Notepad, use the following content:

    Code:
    start
    DeleteQuarantine:
    end
    Save as: fixlist.txt
    Save to the Desktop

    Run FRST and press: Fix

    If successful, you should see the following in the fixlog.txt:

    ======== End of CMD: =========

    C:\FRST\Quarantine => Deleted successfully.
    After the above result, try deleting the FRST folder.

    Please post an update.

    Don't think that worked. Fixlog attached. In C:\FRST, there remain subfolders Hives, Logs and Quarantine. Quarantine has an install folder under it. Bill

    Did you include the colon after DeleteQuarantine:?

    Ah, stupid me. What comes from reading you on one screen and trying to manually copy in the affected screen. Done. FRST gone. Not in C:\. Manually deleted from Desktop. Bill
