Windows 7 Ultimate Bitlocker used on External Hard ?

I used bitlocker on my external hard drive and now i can not remember my password nor do i have my recovery key saved . i do not remember either . I need to regain access to my external hard drive . Can someone please post complete accurate information or even a video demo , how to gain access to my external hard drive again . A sure fire way ! I have purchased Passware kit forensics and Elcomsoft forensics . I have VHD of my external Hard drive made on winimage 9.0 , also an image using EASIS cloning software . I might be over looking the process in which i need to follow in order to regain access to my hard drive .

P.S when i run Passware kit it tells me it will take like 392,000 years and 7 months to complete run time ? Can someone please help me .

There is no backdoor in Bitlocker....unless you can remember the password, your data is irretrievably lost. End of story, no if's or but's.

I reckon you should consult a "professional forensics" expert then. If ya don't want help, ask elsewhere.
Oh crap! I posted here and I'm not a pro, sorry matey. What activity are your trying to hide?
Oh, one other thing, we don't' help crack passwords. See our rules.

To guarantee a secure data store, encrypt the drive with Bitlocker, being sure to:

    1. Forget the password
    2. Don't save the recovery key

If you require access to this encrypted data at some point in the future, take the drive to your local law enforcement agency and claim you have data that could compromise national security. Im sure they will be glad to assist you.
