Wow , that review is not good , not good at all . Too bad
It was just about a year ago they had another big fiasco,
Anti Malwarebytes just nuked 20 of our systems with False Positive | Wilders Security Forums
https://forums.malwarebytes.org/inde...ic=125138&st=0
They came back from that, but there were a lot of hosed systems after that one.
That is where I'll be "If" and "When" 1.75... becomes unsupported
So far it seems isolated I believe to the rootkit option but after the review = losing confidence in 2.0,
But it's early,
I'm going to start cautioning about the rootkit and see how it goes,
Possibly just point people to the 1.75.. version instead of to the mabm site to download 2.0 ?
Still pondering,
Cheers.
I got caught in that false positive a while back and if I remember correctly the problem was take care of in a very short time.
Malwarebytes is not perfect but it doesn't take long to get things fixed.
The rootket part of Malwarebytes gave me problems when it first came out but it hasn't on the last two times I have used it. Just hang it there; perfect won't be far off.
Some of those false positive I suppose? I'd be a bit wary of such a high count, my sister did have about 200 once, along with an inch or so space taken by "useful toolbars".
