Hello good day to all.
I went to install Avast free this morning,I uninstalled the MSE and upon the first few seconds of installation of Avast I got this message on scree.
I'm running windows 7 home premium.I downloaded the avast from here...AVAST 2014 | Download Free Antivirus Software for Virus Protection
I have malwarebytes installed & Superantispyware.
Any help Please.

Update on my posting.
Problem solved,I had to disable ''Self protection module'' in advanced settings in Malware Bytes.After Avast was up and running I enabled the settings in Malware.
Now all went well with Avast.
Now shall I run the free version or would it be advisable to buy the pro version??

I've been running the Avast Free version for years, on more than one PC!
It is a personal preference, and, of course, your choice.
Like anything else, some people like it, others do not.
