    Possible malware infection

Sorry if ths is in the wrong section,,i wasn't sure where to put itl.

My cother computer wont let me visit any pages at all with any browser and it also wont let me run hardly any programs either.

I have cleeaned the system with Malwarebytes Anti Malware and tried to use superantispyware but it wont let me open thatl.

I have also tried to run in safe mode and the same ting happens.

The other day i follwed a thread in another forum and used roguekiller and it seemed to have fixed the problem and worked fine for the rest of the day and then the next day it was back to doing the same thing.

I am posting this from another computer as cant visit anything on the net,,also when i try to visit pages in chrome it says Establishing a secure connection no matter what site i go to.

I hope someone can help me get to the botoom of this without having to complete re-install windows as i have a lot of things that i dont really want to lose.

I look forward to hearing from someone in the near future

    thANKS

    Hey there!

download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

    • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.

    • Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
    • Click on the Scan button.
    • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
    • After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
    • The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.
    • Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
    • A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

Using AdwCleaner v3: Scan & Clean:
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool again.
    Click on the Scan button.
AdwCleaner will begin to scan your computer like it did before.
    After the scan has finished...

This time click on the Clean button.
Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.
After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S#].txt) will open automatically (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.

    • Shutdown your antivirus to avoid any conflicts.
    • Right click over JRT.exe and select Run as administrator on Windows Vista or Windows 7, double-click on XP.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next reply message
    • When completed make sure to re-enable your antivirus

Download and run the two programs above, if it doesn't let you run them in normal mode, Boot into safe mode and try again.
    Cheers

    MadforitSteve,

The following tools may get us to the root of the problem...

However, you may need to download them to the computer that is working, load them to a USB pen drive, and from there move the to the Desktop of the problem computer.

Please use the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool.
Download: Farbar Recovery Scan Tool Download
Select the version that applies to your system.
    Save it to your Desktop.
Double-click the downloaded file to run it.

When the tool opens click Yes to the disclaimer.
At the program's console, press the Scan button.

When done, the tool produces a log, FRST.txt, in the same directory from which the tool is run (Desktop).
Please provide the FRST.txt in your reply.

The first time the tool is run, it also makes another log: Addition.txt
Also post the Addition.txt in your reply.

Next, please use the tool Zoek.exe:
    Download > Download zoek.exe version 5.0.0.0

When the Zoek.exe download appears, save to the Desktop.
On the Desktop, right-click Zoek.exe and select: Run as Administrator
Give it a few seconds to appear.
Please disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware programs, so they don't interfere with the running of Zoek.exe.
You can find instructions how to disable your security applications here:
How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs - Security Mini-Guides

At the program console, click the Options button and place a checkmark only on the following options:

    Do a Deep Scan

    Now...
    Close any open programs.
Click the Run script button, and wait.
It takes a few minutes to run.

When the tool finishes, the zoek-results.log is opened in Notepad.
The log is also found on the systemdrive, normally C:\
If a reboot is needed, the log is opened after the reboot.

Please post the zoek-results.log in your reply.
