That message is normal. We'll run another in an hour or so - it gives herdProtect a chance to compile the results (I think)

    You can press OK.

    Thanks.

Please scroll down the list, click on the following , then click on details and post the screen shot from herdProtect KB.

    c:\windows\system32\atiesrxx.exe
    c:\users\li\appdata\local\temp\askslib.dll
    c:\users\li\appdata\roaming\gamers unite! snag bar\sqlite3.exe
    c:\users\li\appdata\roaming\gamers unite! snag bar\uninstall.exe

This would have been easier if you hadn't installed the games (53 of 61 files are game related, 3 are that snag bar, that would have meant that I only had to check 5 files), but that's moot now. This will take longer than anticipated.

Did you uninstall Snag bar - it doesn't look as though it was completely removed.

If you don't have a real time Anti-Virus now would be a good time to install one.

Microsoft Security Essentials is lightweight and does a good job of protection, it does a great job of repair.

If you do have an AV program, please tell me which one - thanks.

I forgot about Adw ... Right now that herd protect is running. I'll wait until that is done.
You didn't launch an elevated Command Prompt.

Right click Command Prompt > Run as Administrator

    type the same commands

I do use Microsoft Security E. No. The snag bar isn't uninstalled. I was being thick headed. Ok I'll do it. What list am I supposed to be scrolling down?

I'll wait for you to process the requests / corrections, and AdwCleaner.

You need a chance to catch up.

The herdProtect looks pretty good, so I'm fairly confident trovi and the other nasties have been disinfected. I do want to see what the 2nd run of herdProtect produces (in about an hour from now).

Then one more scan - it is the definitive one.

FIRST hit the RED X on that screen - I don't know where you got that Adw Cleaner but it looks like a fake.

You should have AdwCleaner already on your machine - there was no reason to download it.

Let me know when the bogus Adw cleaner is closed

The real AdwCleaner should be on your desktop unless it was overwritten by the fake.
Just skip AdwCleaner for now - that was part of housekeeping.

The herdProtect list of files. You should be able to click the filename and get two options
    locate file on your system
    get details from herdProtect

I'd like you to check the files I listed (the two snag bar files probably won't be there after you uninstall.)
