Cannot boot to windows after using Malwarebytes

Or, closer to home, even sevenforums.com has different sub-forums. So, a question about Security needs to be posted in the Security section, not the Browser section, or the Windows Updates section, or the Sound and Audio section, or somewhere else.

It's not a big deal. We just tried to explain what was done and why.:)

2. Quarantining for scan should NOT be set to automatic for scanning. You should choose to quarantine something rather than doing it automatically.
3. Yes
4. I presume you are speaking about Saturday's incident without actually mentioning it by name. Default quarantining is being reviewed.

FYI...updating and scanning was safe on Saturday early evening (may even be late afternoon, depending on where you are). Bottom line is that it's handled. and was a very isolated incident.

I'm not sure what is the best setting to use for real-time (in the v2 Advanced Settings).

Hey guys, I never received a fix for my issue, I just backed up my pictures and restored to factory settings. Thanks for all your help and concerns, I appreciate it.

I normally just use malwarebytes and nothing else. To be honest it was bad luck too, I had just open it and got the update right when they sent it out and right after my pc was shot. But I know mistakes happen so it's no biggie, I just reset it.

Wonder if they would give me a free version of the paid one since I still rock with them? lol Thanks guys.
