Ok good. Battery is back in and plugged in also and turned on. No window popped up so I guess I have to click on the desktop folder it made and go from there.

Ok just ran the check disk and it says no errors found on the drive...so I don't need to do the #2 check disk(if needed) right? I'm clicking next...

    Andrew are you still here?

I'm at the section "Start Repairs"...it's been running for over an hour now and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do...down in the section "System Monitor (Process Count:) i don't think anything is happening although in the Drive Write: it keeps jumping around with the same numbers and the CPU Usage is 100% Memory Used number goes up and down but nothing is in the log area or anything. I haven't clicked anything so not sure what I'm doing from here.

    Check disk? Start repairs?

    What are you talking about?

You did checkmark only fix windows firewall correct? You did not check all of them did you?

Can you take a screenshot? Or several screenshots showing what you did?

It's almost 2:30 a.m. here and I've been waiting patiently for your help...I haven't steered away from anything that you've asked of me...I'm following each step as it comes and if I have a question I've been posting it...I believe the only thing I'm guilty of is not using the proper language in this link or the name of what it is I'm doing...but I haven't made a move without you. I'm tired now and have to be up in 5 hrs so I'll try to hopefully continue this tomorrow...with your help of course.

    Thanks

Can you at least tell me if I'm in the right place? Like I said I didn't check anything this is the way it came up when I clicked for the next step...I've been waiting to find out if I'm at least in the right spot...and if so I believe from your directions I somehow have to uncheck everything that is checked and just check the "Repair Windows Firewall" and click Start Repairs...

Yes. You did not follow directions.

I stated, to only checkmark repair windows firewall. Then click start repair. Click unselect all, checkmark only repair windows firewall, then click start repairs.

Correct. Yes you are in the right place. :) I just did not understand what you were doing with what you posted before. Proceed. :) Restart the pc after the fixing is done. Follow all directions if given on the screen from the program.
