http://zge.smogvarletrywingding.com/ ransom malware not found by MSSE

Stepped in something yesterday or this morning. When I click links within any page I get a barrage of pop ups with this: (link removed) plus a string of numbers and letter paralyze Firefox and kill Chrome with a red screen demanding I hit a dialog box. Ad blocker works to blank out all but the red screen. SuperAntispyware can't find anything and neither can MS Security Essentials. Both have latest definition updates. Very odd results on Google when I google the suspect URL. Get a normal looking search then it jumps to all languages and weird unrelated stuff endlessly repeating text and the only real link shown is trying to get me to buy a spyware program that when I checked on the other computer says it's a scam. Surely this: zge.smogvarletrywingding.com Archives - Malware Rescue is not the only link to trouble with this hijack/ransom virus. So I tried to download the Safety Scanner and it will not run. Tried over and over on both computers and the program installer will not run. Please help!

Also, please change the link to the malicious website into normal text in case someone accidentally clicks on it.

You're welcome. Remember, no antivirus/antimalware can detect all threats. So if one fails, you should try another. Also, remember that you can't have two or more AVs at one time. To install a new one, you should first remove the old one. (Malwarebytes is an exclusion as it normally does not interfere with other AVs.)
