Problem with computer showing no virus protection

I have a Dell Dimension with Windows 7 64bit computer and have been using Kaspersky Internet security for a number of years. Just recently in my action center at bottom it showed I have no firewall, virus protection, or spy ware protection software program. I have had no problems at all with Kaspersky and to try to resolve the issue I have un-installed it and re-installed program with no change. Wondering if anyone has had a similar issue maybe or could point me in the right direction to fix this problem. After posting here I am going to try to install a totally different virus protection program to see if this works for me. Thanks for any help I may get.
