Avira Antivirus Pro: Line through Last Updated on tooltip

I'm on a Win7 Home Premium x64 SP1 Toshiba Satellite, running Avira Antivirus Pro 14.0.6.552. As of two days ago, when I hover my mouse cursor over the system tray icon, the Last Updated information is crossed out. I've checked Avira's event logs and it shows all updates as successful.

I contacted Avira's support and they told me to set the update scheduler to under two hours and to keep the option to Repeat Job if Time Has Expired unchecked. This seemed to remove the line for a while, but it eventually returned.

I tried two repair installs and finally uninstalling/reinstalling the program completely. The line will go away for a while, but always returns.

Could this be a problem with this version that will be corrected when a new version is released or is there something wrong with my computer?

    Thank you.

Remove avira completely as you normally would, but then use their removal tool and install the new version.

    Thank you for downloading

How do I uninstall my Avira product?

No good. I uninstalled Avira, rebooted, ran the registry cleaner and deleted the keys it found, rebooted again to be on the safe side, reinstalled and the line is still there. The program does seem to be updating itself. Could this just be a cosmetic blemish or perhaps a Windows problem?

Bad app coding and graphical glitch

I would not worry. I was able to reproduce it in a vm.

Thanks. Hopefully, this will be resolved in a future update.
