    Automatically backup Windows firewall rules

I'm setting up my computer so that it back up automatically. For most files I have no problem, but now I want to include my entire firewall configuration in it.

Manually, I can just open the firewall advanced configuration and click the link to export the config, which works greatly, but now, how to do so automatically?

Thanks, handy link. In the end I used the following command:

    Code:
    netsh advfirewall export c:\temp\test.wfw
In the backup pre-events, then backup the resulting file, and deleted in a post-backup event. The bad part is that the task needs to be run under an administrator user as netsh requires elevation, but not so problem anyway.

Thanks for posting the solution for you in the thread itself :)
