    MS Security Client sudden appearance


    I've just discovered (over the last 48hrs) that Microsoft Security Client has appeared in my Start-up list. Is this a product of the last update? Is it something that should be removed or left?

    AFAIK, it belongs to MSE. Maybe someone who actually uses MSE can confirm?

    Sorry, I was not specific enough: it's the sudden appearance in my start-up list that puzzled me. I use MSE and it is a part of that application but has never been seen in start-up till now. I'm quite happy to have security systems starting at boot, I just think its unannounced inclusion is questionable.
