I did save the scan and am attaching them. Hope they come through and you can read them. I did a search for Astromenda and it didn't show up. I'm glad you told me about FRST! ellen
Strange! The FRST log is empty. You can either run FRST again, or since you performed a search and found nothing, you can just leave it at that, but if you are experiencing any issues at all that are questionable, I would like to see a new scan log.
FRST is an amazing tool if you are trained to interpret the logs. It's not a tool that I would suggest just anyone to use without someone who is trained on how to use it.
Do you feel confident that your system is behaving properly? If so, please right click to delete FRST from your computer and make sure not to forget to re-enable Norton.
DonnaB...attached is the log of the FRST I did yesterday. I searched for Astromenda, nothing found. ellenc
Looks good Ellen. Thank you for running and posting the log. I am satisfied that Astromenda has not left behind any residuals. There is another infection circulating that I was looking for as well, and that is not present. So you are good to go!
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.
Happy surfing!!
Donna :)
Ellenc and DonnaB you two worked well together to get this problems solved.
Good job to both of you.
