    I cannot remove istart.webssearches


    I'm also inlcluded with 100,000 infected users. I cannot remove istart.webssearches.com (I even tried it's uninstaller but it look suspicious that the uninstaller may cause issues too).

    Hey this is great tutorial easy to follow. btw its ok to set my homepage to yahoo.com like that? and delete the uknown sites.???? there has a virus or hijacked something ....

    You can certainly set your home page to any site you'd like, yes. You can also run an online Eset scan as another opinion (disregard the thread title)

    I cannot change my homepage, it still redirects me to webssearches, this is the full link (DO NOT CLICK):

    I see the name of the Hard Drive in my system, what does it mean?

    You went through the steps in the link? AdwCleaner especially should do the trick. Much the same, but with a shortcut cleaner
