    W7 Defender vs MBAM

I have used and been a big fan of MalwareBytes free edition for a long time.
Until recently I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials.

Now that I have replaced MSE, Windows Defender has activated itself. Everything I have read says it is antimalware not antivirus and most places say to disable it if running MBAM.

    Agree?

Part 2...is Malware Antiexploit Free something new?

    Thanks.

Defender and Malwarebytes running together is good, stick with those... Mbam Pro is better protection than the free version.

I believe one of us is confusing windows 8.1 and windows 10TP windows defender with windows 7 windows defender,
    They are not the same,
MSE is the same as win-8.1 and 10TP windows defender,
In other words you have No antivirus installed on windows 7 if only windows defender is turned on,
    Cheers.
I'm not even going to get into mbam free.
