The simple way to activate Malwarebytes Premium after you have received the proper I.D. and code. I got mine emailed to me.

    1. Install Malwarebytes Trial and updated it.
    2. Tick on My account in the upper right corner.
    3. Put in your I.D. and activation code and apply.
    4. Done

I also use Microsoft Security Essentials.

I also, when needed use a few stand alone on demand scans when needed.

One last question till we get this fixed. Should we change internet service and is chrome book tablet safe to use till we do?
No need to change internet service. I'd probably change any passwords related to it though.

I know nothing about Chrome or tablets. I assume you are talking about a separate device entirely unrelated to your HP. If that's the case, I'd say it is safe, but you still need to change passwords to any websites you might visit with the tablet as I assume the same passwords are used on the HP.

Have you notified all banking institutions, credit card reporting agencies, anybody that pays you pensions or inbound money of any kind? Stockbrokers? Anybody you have an IRA or 401k with? Do you pay bills online?

We have two laptops. One brand new the other a couple years old. And a chromebook. Mayeb I liek lots of confusion is why I even mentioned the ChromeBook.

Yes, Internet Explorer is a browser. Other major browsers include Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. It's the thing you use to go to different places on the Internet---whether that's here, or Yahoo.com, or whatever.

Are you going to take Greg up on his offer to help you remotely if you can install Team Viewer??

That's probably the way to go if you can get Team Viewer going and coordinate your schedule with his.

Otherwise, you are going to get distracted into side issues such as Malwarebytes, browsers, etc.
