What is a buffer overrun, should i be concerned?

Very rarely i get a 'Buffer Overrun detected' message, which mentions something about a Cyberlink program going corrupt for some wild reason. I never deal with or use anything related to Cyberlink that i know of, at least not directly. I have no idea what the message is about, or what i should do to fix it.

I do MS updates about once a month, and my firewall is on. Am i considered okay?

I don't really know why i would want to update Cyberlink, i don't even know what it is. I don't see anything Cyberlink related in Programs And Features, but i do remember uninstalling something Cyberlink in the past.

I don't think you need Cyberlink. It is some video/photo editing software.

I suggest you run free Malwarebytes once.
