    Just this:

What’s new in this version of the Microsoft Security Essentials
    ongoing beta?

This version of the Microsoft Security Essentials ongoing beta will be
used to produce an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) pre-install
toolkit (Also referred to as an OPK). The OPK will be used
extensively by OEMs and system builders to preinstall MSE on Windows
PCs thereby bringing Security Essentials to more consumers across
many countries. Therefore it is critical that this build be of as
high quality as our regular releases to consumers.

Will this version of Microsoft Security Essentials ongoing beta be
    released to directly consumers?

No, this version of Microsoft Security Essentials ongoing is only
meant for OEMs and system builders and will not be released as an
    update directly to consumers.

Yes.. Sorry, but there's no download for this build even on Connect, the upgrade is applied to the previously installed original ongoing beta build.

yea I as well would like to see release notes

its seems the same as the last beat build, probably just under the hood type stuff. I liked that a notification came up about the update :) most avs you have to find the update yourself.

Was this option in the new 1.0.1743.0 always there in earlier builds? I don't remember it being there.

@Airbot - I believe that the option to create a restore point if problems were found has always been there. The option to create a restore point before scanning - now I'm not sure.

    Ah, yes thanks.
I just checked an earlier build of it in one of my VM's and it's there, just didn't notice it before I guess.
