Don't know if it was made known somewhere else or the date, but using upgrade from Help menu within MSE, current program version is now at 1.0.1801.0

    Airbot:

    Hmmmm........

I just ran the upgrade from within Help. It checked me out and said I have the latest version: 1.0.1611.0

    ???

The rest of my version numbers agree with yours.

Probably would be with the participating in the Ongoing beta test then, thru MS Connect, of which you would have had an email invite for around October. Sorry.

If you have MSE thru the ongoing MS Connect Beta program, the version from using upgrade from the help menu, is now 1.0.1959.

Not that I can see. As far as I know, Microsoft doesn't publish the changelogs, so who knows. Probably just stability/reliability updates to the program.

I don't know if this is simply a placebo (I hope not) but I felt like the latest build 1.0.1959.0 is substantially faster than the public release build...(im also in the connect group)

As far as i know, the only noticeable in your face change in the newer versions is different help files, and different "did you know" comments for the update tab. Besides that, or perhaps besides the possible performance improvements, there aren't any changes.

Btw, it is possible to download the 1.0.1676.0 build from the connect website if you are in the group. Im suprised nobody has posted a download link for it yet. This version is different from the public release in that, if you click on the carrot on the "help" button in the upper right hand corner, you can upgrade the version to the latest: 1.0.1959.0

    Yep Richter it's an "upgrade".

I'm also in the MSE Beta testing group

I don't see anywhere that you can download 1.0.1676.0 build from the connect website. Why would you want to?

It's right there on connect, if you're in the program. 1.0.1676.0

Only way to legally get the upgrade to 1.0.1959.0 is from being a part of the beta program and having downloaded it from connect, and upgrading. Not supposed to be posted, you can't legally distribute it yourself, says it right there. Only if you're part of the program.
