    JerometheGiraff you post like not be able to use .exe files is no big thing. It a HUGE problem and there is not magic switch to fix the problem.

    No one knows what A.S.C. has changed, moved, deleted or added.
    Just remember if it is a IObit program you are in a world of problems.
    If you do get one problem solved another one will just pop up. So on and so on until you are collecting Social Security.

    A repair install might solve your problems with A.S.C.
    A clean install will solve your problem with A.S.C.

    I would suggest that you change all your passwords using a different (Clean) computer.
    If you have any banking or credit card information on you system contact your bank and inform them you accounts might have been compromised.

    There is a good chance IObit sucked that information up and sent it to China.

    Almost 24 hrs later everything is running fine including a full restart, successfully. I think your post Layback is a little fear mongering.
