First, consider using the Panda Vaccine on your computer:
Download Panda USB and AutoRun Vaccine - MajorGeeks

Next, please connect the Seagate FreeAgent external drive to a USB port of your computer.
If the AutoPlay prompt appears, 'X' out of it.

Now, Scan with your current AntiVirus, if it has the option to do so. Some AVs do not.

Give us an update.

The Research and Listing reports are not finding an infection.

Since you are concerned with there being one, a scan of the FreeAgent external drive with an AV program is recommended, if the AV has the option of scanning USB drives.

Downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware gives you the option to scan USB drives when using a Custom Scan.
Press Scan in the upper menu bar, and, in the Custom Scan Configuration window you will find the option to check the USB drive. Then press: Start Scan
