Somehow I have "search protect" on my computer, and it has screwed me

I accidentally install "search protect" onto my PC, and all has gone wrong.

I can't open regedit, msconfig, system restore, and probably a few others that I haven't found yet.

I have tried, it seems, everything. I have copied regedit to my desktop and changed name, I have ran both my anti-virus (MSE) and malware. Nothing was found. I can't get into safe mode, all my computer does it come up with a black screen.

Also my internet and loading my home page are very slow. And I can't uninstall "search protect". It tells me I need a administer and I am the only one on this computer.

And btw, my computer is a gaming computer, and I have been able to get onto internet fine, just very slow.

Also when I click on anything, I get redirected to another page, in another tab. And I can't reinstall my software, due to not getting a windows 7 disc. So am I stuck?

    Any help?

If you can't get into safe mode and remove the offender....

    I would try this first:

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Welcome to the forums Ashley.

    You could try this:

How to remove Search Protect by Conduit Ltd | Lavasoft

It might help. The procedure is long, so read it all before you start. Post back with the results. :)

If you are not the administrator then who is the administrator?

Who is control of this computer?
