    Malware Removal Problem

    Hi,

So I got a problem with hyperlinked text all over my internet links.

Now usually I can deal with these usually, however it's hard to pinpot what malware this is as
1.) There is nothing in extensions
2.) Nothing in Control Panel Programs to uninstall
3.) I run scan with Anti Malware Bytes and it didn't delete/find it

The links usually are directed via click.blueseek and rl.direct if that helps maybe, dunno.

Any clues? Any other info I can give you to help in anyway?

    Kind Regards.

(P.S. Oh irony, the title I created for this topic just got spammed with hyperlink ^^ )

P.S 2. Here's the box that comes up when I get navigate into one of these links:

    Thanks Rich!

Scanned it and the adwcleaner found and deleted other bits of malware found on the computer, but seemingly not the one causing this as that malware remains highlighting links...

Seems this malware is completely missed by these programs...hopefully that's not necessarily very bad sign..

    Any other ideas you think?

    Kind Regards.

I would try going back with system restore from before the problem, at least 2 weeks.

I just realized, you mentioned a scan with malwarebytes, which is not an anti virus. Run a full scan with your anti virus. If you do not have one download the free Panda and scan.
Also scan with eset online. Its a free scan and finds a lot of stuff.

    Gloin22,

A very important question...what browser (or browsers) are you using and showing the hyperlinked text? Internet Explorer, Google, FireFox, other?

There are issues to consider for each one.

    Thanks!
