    Prevx

Not sure if anyone has tried Prevx yet, but it has become part of my security setup. I purchased the paid version just today. Now running Prevx and Vipre along side each other and they play quite well together.

It is available in both 32 and 64-bit and runs on Windows 7 just fine.

More info on this malware fighter from their site:

Prevx 3.0 is a powerful security application with exceptional ability to protect, detect, and remove rootkits and "early life" malicious software - including Viruses, Trojans, Worms, Spyware, and Bots. Prevx 3.0 can be used as a stand-alone security application or as part of a "defense in depth" approach alongside other antivirus, antispyware or internet security suites.

The Prevx 3.0 download is less than 900 kilobytes, it installs in seconds, and will scan an average PC in around 2-4 minutes on install. Once installed scan times reduce dramatically with typical PCs being scanned in around 30 to 60 seconds.

PrevX is a next BB (Behaviour Blocker) on the market (like eg. ThreatFire).
This application based on blacklist and work in cloud which means - when you are not connected to Internet - PrevX don't work because it won't be able to download signatures from database located on PrevX servers.
Anyway this software is worth to try, there is also official PrevX forum at Wilders:

I have tried both ThreatFire and Prevx and think Prevx is better. More professional, better handling of malware in general and the scan speed, Prevx learns on your system as it goes and scans 100x faster than TF. Also, TF only scans for rootkits and nothing else.

One thing to keep in mind though, the free version of Prevx has real time monitoring, but will not clean or prevent any malware. It will however tell you that you have a malware issue and you can clean using something else or purchase the full version.

Yep I tried. It catches everything thrown at it just like MBAM. Scans are faster.
