Tell the caller that you are not the computer person. Hold on while I get my son to talk to you.
Then just wait and see how long you can tie up their phone while waiting.

Do Not Call Lists only work with callers who are trying to stay legal. Scammers know full well what they are doing is illegal and couldn't care less about any do not call list, even if they had access to it.

Get caller i.d. and report to your phone company the exact time and number if it comes up as a number listed or private,
They can look it up that's when the exact time comes in handy if it's a private number,
Keep them on the line for at least 5 minutes or use another line and call your phone company to trace it.

I haven't had any calls gezz I feel left out

The last call I got, they said my computer was transmitting a virus ... I asked which one?
Sometimes I like to 'play', other times I just hang up. If you don't have caller ID, a delay before the caller replies back to your 'hello' is usually a give away that it's a solicitor/spam.
