    Avast auto scan?

I can't discover how to set up Avast for a auto scan. I have the home free addition. Is this a posibility? Trying to convert from AVG, I have a dual bootvista64/win7 beta 64 I have avg residing on the vista drive. avg scans c: vista and j: win7 or at least that's what it looks like when I look at the results of scan history.I would like to have the same av on both drives. ??? thanks, Larry

    Hello myzr7,

Welcome to the Seven Forums. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Might need the Pro version for that, but you should be able to do so through the task scheduler.

Thanks Gary for the well wishes and reply. Task scheduler huh I'll give that a try. Any thoughts on avg scanning vista and beta 7. It says its putting 7's cookies in a vault. I'm dumb for awhile but not forever I hope. fare thy well... lm

I'd just go with Avast for both IMO.

I lived in Kansas for two years. :)

I know what you mean, but I think that is probably the best you can hope for unless you want to spring for the Pro version!

The only real difference between the home and pro is that the pro has scheduling and an 8th Script Blocking Provider.
