They say that QuickHeal AV 2010 series will work with Win7. They also say that quickheal 2010 will be released on 8th Nov. However, I didnt see any traces of it on their website. I tried the 2009 version which is incompatible and Windows 7 blocked the network driver due to incompatibility. I guess the 2010 products should be available by tomorrow.

ESET has 58 VB awards and detects 100% of everything..
Oh yeah, I almost forgot.
It has always worked in Windows 7
I'm sticking with the proven best.
But thanks for the info.

Where exactly in all these tests out there has ESET always detected 100% of everything?
Also, ESET was just RECENTLY added to the Windows 7 supported list by Microsoft and their firewall module in Smart Security didn't work for the longest time with shared folders in Windows 7.
So let's recap then...
- It doesn't detect 100% of everything. No anti virus software does.
- It didn't always work in Windows 7.

I used ESET in every version release of Win7 since the 6900 builds. It's worked since then. It worked in vista and XP. How could it have not ever worked in 7?

Re read my post. The firewall module of ESET Smart Security did not work shared folders and has since been fixed. It did not work until later on in Windows 7.
As for the 58th VB100 award, that's great, but it still does not support your statement:
detects 100% of everything..
ESET does not detect 100% of everything. No anti virus software does.
Regardless, this thread isn't about ESET, but it seems those who use it want to make just about every thread about it for some reason.

I agree with your statement. If anyone likes eset products, go ahead use it. Stop being Eset fanboy. I had used eset for a very long time and I liked it. However, today I see that there are other products which are better than eset, way better.
