Saleooffer malware - How do I get rid of it?

A malware called saleooffer (yes, spelled with 2 o's) keeps showing up in Google Chrome extensions. I delete it and the next time I open Chrome, it is back! I found and removed several similar malware folders in the Program Files (x86) folder. I cannot find saleooffer anywhere. It must be disguised somehow. Can anyone help me get rid of this thing completely?

You can find removal instructions here:

Remove "Ads by Saleouffer" virus (Easy Removal Guide)

Run the recommended scanners (Malwarebytes & AdwCleaner), quarantine anything Malwarebytes finds & allow AdwCleaner to remove any files. Make a restore point prior to running these just in case.

The free version of Malwarebytes will work fine.
