    Niket,

    If you can do so on the affected computer, please download SystemLook from one of the links below and save it to your Desktop.
    Download Mirror #1

    Download Mirror #2
    • Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
    • Copy the content of the following codebox into the main textfield:
      Code:
      :reg
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\
    • Click the Look button to start the scan.
    • When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan.

    Please post this log in your next reply.

    I am so sorry to interupt, Niket, but I am not sure how to PM people. Cottonball, when you have a chance, can you please look at my case? Removal of virus has blocked internet. PLEASE PLEASE HELP

    I believe it is similar to a case you were vital to help solve called "Windows 7: Virus Deletion Now Makes Internet Access Impossible". I truly truly need to get this solved.

    Apologies for the rudeness but I knew no other way to contact Cottonball. Thanks and good luck.

    Click on the nick (upper left) of the poster and "send private message to...".

    I believe you need 50 (maybe 100) posts to be able to receive/send PM.

    Niket,

    Did you set these policies:

    "NoActiveDesktop"= 0x0000000001 (1)
    "NoActiveDesktopChanges"= 0x0000000001 (1)
    "ForceActiveDesktopOn"= 0x0000000000 (0)
