    One of the file in recovery drive encrypted by virus


    a virus deleted my shadow copies so now i cant restore my system to a previous restore point, i just want to know if there is any way to recover those shadow copies of the restore point so thst i can restore, if its possible.

    Unfortunately there is no way to recover/restore deleted shadow copies. You can try cleaning the infection by scanning the system with the following tools ( one after another ).

    One of the file in recovery drive encrypted by virus


    recently my pc got infected by a ransomeware - Bitcryptor, it encryted many of my files and one file from my recovery drive- TypeList.txt. I just want to know if my recovery will work properly if i perform one. i dont want to be stuck at the middle of the process.

    We created a tool. It does not decrypt your files but can alert you minutes after a cryptovirus attacks. It scans MS Office files, photos, text files etc. to see if they are encrypted and outputs results to .csv file and sends an email with this .csv attachment to alert you.
