    turn off or remove window security


    I'm using Avast security and have been for years. I just noticed that windows security is also running on my desktop. I'd like to turn it off but can't find where that can be done. Thoughts?

When I do a search in W Explorer, I'm getting groupings. That's nice, but I'd like to turn it off. In Vista I did that using the VIEW pulldown menu. But, the "traditional" menu bar isn't there. Can I turn that menu bar on? Or, if not, can I remove groupings.
