I use Norton Firewall that comes alongwith Norton internet security 2010. It has turned off Windows Firewall. If you're using Comodo Firewall, turn off Windows Firewall.

If you are using Windows Firewall, and have it configured properly, and are using a router with its own built in firewall system, then you should have no need for additional software.

The Windows Firewall does not "suck". It works perfectly as it should. I could do an online scan of my workstation now and you will not find any ports open.

You don't want the firewall programs conflicting. It would be best to disable one.

Here is simple rule of the thumb. ONE active firewall at a time. ONE active antivirus at a time. In most cases that I have found running two of eather active will cause nothing but problems. I'm sure there are people that can keep tweaking on them and soon or later they can make them work together. Who wants to go through all that to have a system that is no safer than having one of each active at a time.
