scan password protected files

hi, guys
when i do a full system scan using advast, scan can not scan some file because they are password protected, how do i scan password protected files ????
does a boot scan, scan password protected files ????
are there other programs that can scan password protected files (yes/no)

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

You need to extract them to a temporary location, then scan those files. It's simply not possible to view inside a "password protected" file because the AV must decrypt it, and it needs the password for that, there is no way around that.
