Windows 7: Viruses While Playing Game

Windows 7 64 bit

If I go to Control Panel, I see Adobe Flashplayer 21 Active X and Flashplayer 21 NPAPI. My only choice is to Uninstall. I can't find a way to do anything else with it (?). What am I missing?

You're going to far into the Control Panel.

Click on your Start
In the Start menu, click on Control Panel. (DO NOT click on Programs and Features)
Near the top right you should see View by: (see image below)
Click on Large icons in list.

Now you should be in icon view. Look for the following icon in the list of alphabetical software.

Click on the icon to open the Flash Player's user interface.
Click on the Update tab.
Click on Check now.

Probably better to upload images here so that everyone can see them rather than use an external site:

Since my version is the same as the one that shows on their site, that has to mean it is up to date. I know you gurus zip right along like it's nothing, but I was not aware of getting that info like you did. I appreciate it and all of the help you've given me. Is there anything left?

Windows 7 64 bit

I usually do my virus scans on Saturday. When I wanted Spyware Blaster to check for updates, it showed the block for MANY cookies had been removed. I know we said there are some cookies that need to be allowed, but the majority sounded bad, yet protection had been removed. How does the protection get removed if I don't do it? I had to manually recheck what seemed to be 100 cookies I wanted blocked. Any advice?
BTW, my computer is running a lot better now. Adding AdBlocker to Firefox hasn't hurt anything. Getting away from all of the ads on Yahoo's home page has also sped things up.
