    I have a virus I can't kill

I didn't think about it being a virus at first because it's not hiding. It attaches right under my search in Firefox. It has a pull down box. It looks like this: see attachment

When you pull down it says things like "past hour, past 24 hours, past week, past month, past year.

I ran Malware bytes, Revo, Microsoft Essential and Ad aware. They didn't find anything. Ifinfo I get info on what I was searching for. For some reason I thought it was GSTATIC. I. When I put Revo in Hunter mode and dragged it over this box it says to delete Mozilla Firefox.exe. I did delete and re-install no change. Maybe it's trying to make people stop using Firefox.

I'm starting to worry about it sitting there. Have you seen or heard of it before?

Does it still appear if you run FF, with add-ons dissabled?

    Hi,
See if any of these look like it since you cropped off the image

As I recall that was a "feature" added to Firefox a while back (I don't remember exactly when). Some developer must have thought it a good idea to let the user select the search history time frame just in case you wanted to look for something again.

I don't recall how I got rid of it, maybe when I installed the Classic Theme Restorer.

You might try opening about:config and toggle "browser.search.showOneOffButtons" to "false" and see if that helps.
