I'm glad you like it!

I'm still beta testing this release, and have asked for a saved 'scan log', so we can see what's been detected, if infact that it found malware and was moved to quarantine.

Try Avira AntiVir. It's very light on system resources. I don't even notice it.....unlike just about every other antivirus program I've tried.

too late. i found Miscrosoft Security Essentials! not only its a simple and great antivirus software with a firewall, it doesnt eat up ur processor and cpu, and it barely affects your pc boot up timing. my laptop boots up in 40 seconds.

If you want an anti virus that barely affects your pc boot up, my suggestion is Microsoft Security Essentials.
And, if you are looking for a commercial one, I am currently using Nod32 antivirus and I think it is little better than other similar products (in the case of booting time).

Anti Virus Program For Son ? (AVAST Causes Crashes ?)
Hi, What a great Forum. I use AVAST Free, on my PC, and it seems to work just fine. My son also installed it at my suggestion, but says he had to remove it as it "caused crashes, slowing down,...etc." I have no idea why. We both run W7. He now uses, only, Windows Defender, but says,...
