Does any anti virus program fits this description???

    I'm glad you like it!

    I'm still beta testing this release, and have asked for a saved 'scan log', so we can see what's been detected, if infact that it found malware and was moved to quarantine.

    great security so far. its in fact not a resource hog and my pc boots in under 55 seconds

    Try Avira AntiVir. It's very light on system resources. I don't even notice it.....unlike just about every other antivirus program I've tried.

    too late. i found Miscrosoft Security Essentials! not only its a simple and great antivirus software with a firewall, it doesnt eat up ur processor and cpu, and it barely affects your pc boot up timing. my laptop boots up in 40 seconds.

    MSE doesn't have a built in firewall ... are you using Windows 7 firewall?

    I use kaspersky, its not a resource hogger and ever since i started using it, i have never had an issue...

    If you want an anti virus that barely affects your pc boot up, my suggestion is Microsoft Security Essentials.
    And, if you are looking for a commercial one, I am currently using Nod32 antivirus and I think it is little better than other similar products (in the case of booting time).

    ur a little late on that XD
    my pc boots in 40 seconds WITH Microsoft Security Essentials
    still in beta but still works great
