    BitDefender Threat scanner error


    Hi again everyone another problem with my laptop apparently when I restart or shut down my laptop this message pops up about BitDefender threat scanner is there anyway to stop this message from popping up thanks guys

    Hi Alex,
    Easy way
    Go progs/features
    Select uninstall IT gives you a >> repair << option.

    not seen that on mine today, mine updated as of an hour ago.

    Hi Alex,
    Control panel >> programmes & features >>scroll to Bitdefender highlight(click on it), then on top bar select uninstall/change, then repair.

    Hi,
    Easiest way is to use the start menus search
    Type uninstall a program :)

    Hi alexhob123,

    If the repair as instructed above is not successful, please follow the instructions found here and download the BDRepair tool. Make sure to choose the appropriate patch for your Operating System Architecture; etal as 32 or 64-bit.

    If for some reason that fails, you will need to uninstall then reinstall to software.

    Please let us know the results.

    I tried the BDRepair tool and that didn't work but I will tourchwoods way first then I will try your second bit after okay

    Thank you for letting me know that the BDRepair was not able to fix the problem. This bit of information may help others in their quest for a solution. Please keep us informed... :)
