    Which antivirus

I did it I strayed to a 27 inch quad core IMAC with 8 gigs of memory. I also ordered VMware fusion. I am going to try to run Apple what ever it is Snow Lepard and Windows 7 ultimate at same time. I am not a fan of norton and know nothing about what I need for the IMAC. What antivirus should I use?? Both Operating systems are going to be open at same time? I am using Avast home with windows 7 , It works, What for the Mac? Help.

By the way it is warming up at almost midnight 14 degrees and no wind.

Not being rude, but seriously, ask for a Windows 7 AV recommendation by all means, but to ask about a MAC, not here mate, some people take that to offense, and my link should give you a head start.

Try this link - Mac Antivirus Software Reviews: The Best and Worst of Macintosh Antivirus Software

Id go for the pctools one as its supposidly light as it deals only with mac viruses. You could also try this forum and ask there for help - Apple - Support - Discussions - Intel-based iMac

Thank you Interesting if you look at their avitars they are using other operating systems, I am going to us a quad processor with 8 gigs of memory that happens to be wrapped in a 27 in monitor, the loudest is using a 19 inch monitor, why, sorry I do not want to upset anyone.. I just ask those who have nothing constructive to say don't say anything. Thanks the links helped.

No problem. Just remember viruses arent really a problem on macs, so just get one thats really lightweight. Ones that only deal with mac viruses are the best to get.

And beware of Windows 7 fanboys lol
