    Hi,
Yea I'm not sure how many processes there are or supposed to be for panda or why you had difficulty with installing it
I wouldn't say my installs are in any way perfect all updates did come from microsoft

I get 3 services with Panda, but the other issue is that on restoring a backup, it isn't recognized...

When i want to download the Avast installer, i download it from the current build (New version) link in their forum.
Here is the latest build link with installer links:
    NEW August versions: 12.3.2279 + 2280

Here's the Avast forum where you can get the latest build info/links:
    Avast Free/Pro/IS/Premier
Thanks for posting......tried it, but got saw a message displayed at action center, performed a uninstall, ran Avast clear tool, but still the same......

Would try after a clean install of W7.

Yea, test with clean install of Win 7.
Or, wait for an expert that can help try to fix the SFC errors.

If the OS is corrupt there is no telling what problems there will be with anything.
Restoring a corrupt OS won't fix problems, it just keeps them.
