    windows defender


    can i uninstall windows defender on windows 7 or is it like vista you can only turn it off i dont use it and never will

    i think its integrated into the OS & as such it can only be disabled.

    Hello Andy,

    Yes, Windows Defender can only be turned off. If you have MSE installed, then it will turn off Windows Defender by default since it is used instead.
