    Recommend Free Firewall

    Hello
Looking for a free firewall, that is proven trouble free , no bsod etc and bloatware /ad free. I do like pop up that zone alarm has with name of program ex: ksjhffjkfkfk_StealYourFiles.exe wants access to internet , as this is most likely not a good thing to allow access. I talked with zonealarm live support and read some of the forum posts and concluded zonealarm has big problems so that ones off my list. Anyone have actual experience with a free firewall that is proven good and one that I won't regret installing?
    thanks

I use the built in Windows Firewall, along with the Free Microsoft Antivirus and Malwarebytes.

About the same here, I use 10's built in firewall. Its light and seems to work very well. I use Panda free a/v though.

    Take a look at TinyWall.
TinyWall - A free, lightweight and non-intrusive firewall

It's not a firewall, it's an interface to the Windows firewall.
Here's a quote from that link
TinyWall is a free software to harden and control the advanced firewall built into modern Windows systems.
I've never used it, just read about it.
I use Windows built in firewall and my router firewall.

I'm using Zone Alarm FREE firewall on Windows 10.

Seems to work O.K. but I am no expert.

I use the built in Windows 7 Firewall and always have. No muss, no fuss and no popups. If that firewall doesn't work, me or my systems can't tell. It just works.
