    Windows built-in security ?

I read a lot of stuff that says Win 10 is more secure than Win 7 or Win 8.1
Is there any reliable/credible testing that shows that to be true ?
Or is this just MS hype that gets repeated ?
Do any "security testers" test different versions of Windows to see if W10 really is more secure than W7 or W 8.1 ?

    I use W7, W8.1, and W10.
I can't test how well the built-in Windows security really works, if it's really better than before.
I'm not a security expert that can test this stuff.

This is just a curiosity thread, feel free to comment/post anything.

I just wonder if all the newer OS changes/features really make Windows more secure, or no-one has tested it to know for sure.
And, maybe all the latest changes open new security holes.

    Hi David.

I know of no independent testing that has been done to compare security of different systems sense XP. My personal systems which are Windows 7 Pro/64 have been free of infections for a long time. Knock on hard wood.

I quite sure the bad guys are working on ways to infect W-10 systems as they did with the older operating systems.
