bitlocker version is not compatible with my version of windows

Hi I am having a similar issue
I decrypted my 1TB drive and now it still shows as locked
when i double click on it it says the bitlocker version is not compatible with my version of windows
tried repair bde with another 1TB drive for recovery but it says not enough space on 2nd drive
however after i run the bderepair command and goto the win explorer the lock on the drive is gone but i still can not access it.
