How to set Windows wide folder security?

I've just recently reinstalled Windows 7 and have done this a few times previously but never with such wide ranging effects as this one seems to have managed. Despite me being logged in as full Admin, it's looking for me to (re)set security on 75% of all my folders despite these not having been changed or drive letters affected etc.

I've done a few of them in order to be able to save into them, but wondering if there's a faster method to getting them all sorted en-bloc so to speak?

You can use Tweaking.com - Windows Repair All-In-One program to reset Windows OS file and folder permissions to there default permissions.
