    Strange "Launcher.exe" virus

So about a week ago my antivirus started picking up on this "Launcher.exe" file in my downloands folder. Everytime I boot up the system a new version of it is detected in my folder and sent to the quarantine. I have no idea what it does but the antivirus says it's a TROJAN and that it came from my downloads folder.

Any ideas? I haven't done anything about it apart from looking a bit into it.

    Hi enterman1,
How big is the troublesome file? Have you tried uploading it to Virus Total and see what they say?
    Virus Total
What is the maximum file size that can be submitted to VirusTotal?
128MB for the web and email interfaces, 32MB for the API interface by default. Having said this, should you have a strong and justified need to send big files through the API (even larger than 128MB) you can contact us in order to have access to the big files API call.

Hey, thanks for the tip, I ran the .QUA file and no antivirus found it as a genuine virus, should I rand it again after I restore it or does this mean its just a false alarm?

Also the QUA file is about 1KB so pretty insignificant

What AV are you running? Your system specs are very sparse, to say the least.
You can do as you wish, safe is much more desirable than sorry, providing your uploads comply with file-size limitations. I have Virus Total downloaded and installed which add right-click choice to context menu. Any programs that I download, use, or recommend, I submit to VT for analysis as well as scan with several scanners I have on my machines.

FYI: most if not all launcher.exe are minute, they only launch the associated program. If you click start and type launcher.exe in searchbox, you'll most likely get several hits, at least I do (sixteen as of now).
